Actress Im Joo Eun recently gathered interest with the news of her casting into the new SBS Wednesday-Thursday drama, “My Lovely Girl,” alongside Rain and f(x)’s Krystal (you can read more about the drama here). However, it became known that she has now removed herself from the cast. Her management agency revealed the reason to be a disagreement between the management company and the production company.

“My Lovely Girl” will be a romantic love fantasy drama about a group of young people that use music as a method of healing their pain and troubles. Im Joo Eun was to play the role of Shin Hae Yoon, a director of an entertainment company who is true to her emotions.

However, it was revealed that there were differences in perspective with regards to the interpretation of her character. Im Joo Eun’s management agency and the production company had long meetings to sort this issue, but on top of scheduling conflicts between the drama and her next movie, as well as differences in the character interpretation, the final decision was made to remove Im Joo Eun from the drama.

Meanwhile, Im Joo Eun has finished filming for the movie “Don’t Forget Me,” and has started to consider another movie for her next project. So guess we’ll be seeing her on screen one way or the other! Anyone have any substitutions in mind for the vacated role?
