San E and Rania’s Collaboration Song “A Mid Summer Night’s Sweetness” Tops the Chart

Rapper San E and Rania, a member of the girl group, After School, collaborated and sang “A Mid Summer Night’s Sweetness.” During the month of July, the song has topped music charts.

On August 2, according to the music site, Melon, the duo’s song, “A Mid Summer Night’s Sweetness,” that was released on June 12, topped the chart during the July monthly chart.

During last month, they were in 18th place and rose to first.

“A Mid Summer Night’s Sweetness” is a love song that tells the story of a couple’s love story on a summer day. The lyrics describe the sweet and happy relationship they have by being together in this moment. It also has a warm and emotional melody that fits well with the song.

Taeyang, a member of the boy group, BIGBANG, was in second place with the title song from his second album, “Eyes, Nose, Lips.” The song was released on June 3 and was in third place on June charts upon its release. Compared to that, it rose up to second and is receiving a lot of love, along side “A Mid Summer Night’s Sweetness.”

On the July chart, many artists of various genres were placed on the chart. In third and fourth place, singer K.Will’s “Day 1” and Younha’s “Umbrella” was placed on the chart.

The group, g.o.d., who reunited after nine years, was in fifth place with “Sky Blue Promise.” From there, girl group AOA’s “Short Hair” was sixth and singer Jung In and rapper Gary’s project song, “Your Scent,” was in seventh place. “Maps,” sung by the worldwide band, Maroon 5, was in ninth place and IU’s “Anxious Heart” was in 10th place.

Before San E and Rani’s collaboration, Soyu, a member of the girl group, SISTAR, and singer Junggigo was first place during the month of March with the song, "Some." In May, singer IU and boy group, HIGH4, sang “Not Spring, Love or Cherry Blossoms,” which was first place as well.

Meanwhile, Girl’s Day’s “Darling” is 15th place, f(x)’s “Red Light” is 16th place, 2LSON’s “I’m In Love,” is 17th and entertainer Park Myung Soo’s “Myung Soo’s Tteokbokki” is 19th place.
