Girl’s Day Sojin and Hyeri Discuss Ideal “We Got Married” Partners, Role Models, and More with @star1

During a recent interview with @star1 magazine, Girl’s Day members Sojin and Hyeri talked about their ideal partners for “We Got Married,” their role models, as well as the dreams they have for their real-life marriage.

When asked about whom each of them would want to star in MBC’s “We Got Married” with, Sojin answered, “I want to film [‘We Got Married’] with Sung Si Kyung (senior). He’s very well-spoken and I think he would be able to respond to anything I say with a witty reply. He seems very charming because although he speaks softly, he still overflows with charisma.”

To the same question, Hyeri stated, “For me, it’ll always be Hyun Bin (senior). I really, really like him. I’m a big fan and I’ve watched everything he has starred in until now. Come to think of it, I’ve liked every character he has played in his works. The other members change their favorite actors every time they watch a new drama, but for me it has always been Hyun Bin from beginning to end.”

Then, the two Girl’s Day members were asked about their thoughts on real-life marriage. Sojin shared, “I want to get married in my mid to late 30s. I don’t have many expectations, as long as the person cares for me and is expressive with his feelings. For example, a celebrity couple like Yoo Ji Tae and Kim Hyo Jin. They make a beautiful couple. I want to be with someone who will freely walk around holding hands, even with age.”

Hyeri also explained her marriage wishes saying, “I always think about wanting to get married early. I sincerely want to get married as quickly as possible and live a stable life. I would like to have a wonderful family of my own with a beautiful daughter.”

On the topic of their own personal role models, Sojin said, “I respect Lee Hyori and Uhm Jung Hwa (seniors) very much. They both put on amazing performances on stage as singers, even when they make a comeback after a long hiatus.”

Hyeri shared, “I’ve also said that I’ve been a fan of Uhm Jung Hwa (senior) since my debut. I think she is the greatest in the music industry. More than anything, I want to become like her, as she is very versatile and charismatic.”
