BIGBANG's Daesung has wrapped up his solo arena tour in Japan.

His concert series “D-LITE DLive 2014 in Japan-D’solve [sic]” began in Yokohama on June 11 and had its last show in Osaka July 27. In total, Daesung held 15 shows in eight cities, meeting over 17,000 fans through the concerts.

Last year, for his first Japan solo tour, he held 26 shows in 20 cities,  and saw 10,000 fans. This is the first time that a Korean solo artist held a Japan tour two years in a row with at least 10,000 attendees.

During the concert finale, that was held on July 26 and July 27, Daeusng said, “Through last year’s solo tour, I discovered love (D’scover) thanks to the fans. This year, I wanted to pay back the fans with my love (D’slove), so that’s why I decided to name this tour, ‘D-LITE DLive 2014 in Japan-D’solve.’ I wanted to create a show that’s overflowing with love, where the band, the dancers and the attendees will sing and dance together.”

Since it was the last show, he showed a more passionate performance and after the encore, he performed a second encore, making the complete show last over 3 hours and 40 minutes.

During the encore, Daesung announced, “As a solo artist, I’m planning new things for this fall.”

Meanwhile, Daesung’s first Japanese original album was released on July 16 and was placed first on Oricon’s Album Daily Chart. Also, on Oricon’s Weekly Chart, he’s second place for selling about 38,000 albums.
