Weekly K-Pop Music Chart 2014 – July Week 4

Recommended Posts

f(x) has the new No. 1 song this week with “Red Light,” moving up eight spots to take over our top spot.  This song swept all music shows for the past week and it is no surprise to see them winning in our chart as well.  “Red Light” also tops our Soompi Airplay source, and is the only song to score over 900 points this week.  Congratulations to f(x).

For the third straight week, AOA’s “Short Hair” is our No. 2 song.  This song remains steady among all chart sources.  Rounding out the top three is Taeyang’s former No. 1 song “Eye, Nose, Lips,” moving back up one spot to No. 3.

There is only one brand new song in the top 10.  Moving up 11 spots to No. 6 is a duet between Huk Gak and A Pink’s Jung Eun Ji “Break Up To Make Up.”  This is the second time the two artists collaborating together.  Last year their first duet “Short Hair” went all the way to No. 2.  Continuing the “A Cube For Season” project, this time the theme is Sky Blue.  “Break Up To Make Up” is a sweet acoustic ballad about the feelings of couples that have been together for a long time.  It has a listener friendly melody and arrangement.  Huh Gak and Jung Eun Ji shows great chemistry on this song.
