More information about EXO's latest variety show is unraveling, heightening the excitement of EXO fans who are anticipating the show.

While previous reports claimed that Shinhwa will be EXO's first guest on their latest show, it was revealed that EXO will instead have their label mates Kangta and SM Rookies as guests on the first episode of their new variety show under Mnet. Shinhwa will still appear as guests, only at later episodes.

A CJ E&M representative revealed to TV Report that EXO members Suho, Baekhyun, Chanyeol, D.O, Kai, and Sehun had their first filming for the variety show on July 24. SM Entertainment's very first K-pop group, H.O.T will grace the first episode and H.O.T's Kangta will represent the group. SM Rookies Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Jaehyun, and Ten will also be making an appearance.

A source who works in various broadcast and music programs also shed more light on the new EXO program, revealing that the show will go under the title, "EXO 90:2014" (K-Pop Time Slip). Jeon Hyun Moo, who has previously worked with EXO on a number of occasions including the group's previous variety show "EXO Showtime," will be the MC of the show.

The show will be packed with interesting sections including one wherein EXO will meet personalities who contributed to K-POP history. In each episode, the EXO members will also be doing remakes of the '90s K-POP music videos.

"EXO 90:2014" is slated to air its first episode on August 15 and will be on air for 12 weeks. The show will be broadcasted every Friday, 10 p.m. (KST) on Mnet.
