"I Am a Singer" to Have a One-Shot Special

MBC's hit singing competition program "I am a Singer" will be making a short comeback. 

A representative from MBC announced on July 17 that to celebrate the anniversary of the Sangam building of MBC, "I am a Singer" will be returning for a one-episode special, scheduled to be aired sometime in the fall near the Korean Thanksgiving season. 

The lineup of singers to be on the show or even the MCs have yet to be decided, according to MBC. The producers are currently in discussion to determine the cast. They are also open to possible changes in the format of the original show. 

"I am a Singer" premiered in March of 2011 to great popularity, giving a chance at spotlight for numerous talented singers. The second season ran through April until December of 2012.
