Yoo Jae Suk Previously Wanted to Quit Showbiz Due to Stage Fright

Comedians Park Soo Hong, Nam Hwui Seok, Choi Seung Kyung, and Kim Soo Yong appeared on the July 10 broadcast of KBS’ variety talk show “Happy Together.” Choi Seung Kyung opened up about a time when MC Yoo Jae Suk suffered major anxiety and thought about quitting showbiz.

“Yoo Jae Suk had a really hard time because of stage fright. He even stopped coming to the broadcast station and worked at a pub near a school part-time.”

Choi Seung Kyung continued, “But Yoo Jae Suk did a really good job. He would say the exact same words he said on set, and it would be funny. That’s why I went over there to bring him back to the station and told him, ‘Lets do this together.’”

MC Park Myung Soo added, “My heart just dropped. If you didn’t bring Yoo Jae Suk back, then what would’ve happened to me? You saved us both.”
