g.o.d’s “The Story of Our Life” Grabs Ten No 1 Spots within Hours of Release

“The Story of Our Life,” the lead track from new g.o.d album “Chapter 8,” has stormed to the top of the Korean music charts mere hours after its release, according to music websites.

Although the album had only gone on sale at 12am on July 8, by 7am on the same day, a total of 10 major music sites had reported that “The Story of Our Life” had hit the top spot on their charts. The sites in question were Melon, Olleh Music, Genie, Mnet, Monkey3, Bugs, Naver Music, Daum Music, Soribada and Cyworld Music.

Anticipation for g.o.d’s comeback has reached fever pitch in Korea, as the five-member group gears up for its series of 15^th anniversary concerts. The concerts kick off this weekend, with gigs on July 12 and 13 in Seoul. In August, the boys will hit the road, with ten more concerts scheduled to be held in major cities such as Busan, Gwangju, Daegu and Daejeon.
