Congratulations to Taeyang. The number song 2 this week is “A Midsummer Night’s Sweetness,” which is a collaboration between rapper San E and After School’s Raina. It moved up 24 spots to No. 2. This is a medium tempo R&B hip-hop song for the summer season. San E’s rapping and Raina’s sweet vocal are bound to captivate listener’s ears. The lyrics will get listeners reminiscing their most romantic summer nights. This song was just 32 points behind “Eye, Nose, Lips.” Lets see if it can move into the top spot next week. There are two other new songs in the top 10 this week. Moving up 20 spots to No. 5 is Gummy’s latest hit “I Loved…Have No Regrets.” Gummy has had many drama OST hits the past two years, now she has returned with her latest mini-album “I Loved…Have No Regrets.” The title song of the same name is a piano filled ballad with a retro style rhythm and the lyrics describe the pain after a breakup. Gummy’s soulful voice brings out the best of this song. Debuting at No. 8 is “Meaning Of You,” the second hit song from IU’s remake album “Flower Bookmark.” IU collaborated with Kim Chang Wan on this song. The original version was released in 1984 by the band Sanullim, in which Kim Chang Wan was a member of. It is a classic hit know across generations.
