Cross Gene Releases Korean Version of “Shooting Star”

Six-member boy band Cross Gene has uploaded the video for the Korean version of the song “Shooting Star.” The Japanese version was a hit in March last year.

The video features the boys dancing on a set designed to look somewhat like a medieval chapel, replete with stained glass windows. At various points, the group’s members are shown with weapons, such as a bow and swords. At one point, the boys’ swords glow in the dark, in a scene reminiscent of the movie Star Wars.

The new video release caps a busy month for Cross Gene, who had been on something of a hiatus in Korea since the release of their 2012 album, “Timeless: Begins.” On June 9, they released the track, “Amazing -Bad Lady-,“ co-produced by sometime Britney Spears collaborator Andreas Carlsson.
