Secret's Sunhwa Talks About Her Role in "Marriage Without Love"

At the production presentation of the upcoming tvN Friday-Saturday drama "Marriage Without Love" held at Raum in Seoul on June 26, Secret's Han Sunhwa talked about the character that she will be portraying.

In the upcoming drama "Marriage Without Love," Sunhwa will play the role of Kang Se Ah, an intellectual lady who graduated from the College of Medicine of a reputable university. On whether she's pressured taking on the role, Sunhwa said, "It was hard and it's still difficult preparing for my role as Kang Se Ah. I'm having worries."

"It's more intellectual than the bright image that I have shown until now and it's a role that needs inner feelings. However, that's not to say that the role of Kang Se Ah doesn't have any bright sides. I am trying my best to express it in three dimensions," added the singer-actress.

The upcoming tvN Friday-Saturday drama "Marriage Without Love" tells the story of a lady named Joo Jang Mi (Han Groo), who wants to get married, and a guy named Gong Ki Tae (Yeon Woo Jin), who doesn't want to get married. In order to make his household give up on pressuring him to get married against his will, the third-generation only son and perfect guy Gong Ki Tae brings Joo Jang Mi, a girl who he knows his family would not approve of, to his house and introduces her to them as his girlfriend.

"Marriage Without Love" starts airing at tvN on July 4, Friday, 8:40 p.m.
