Mnet's “M!Countdown” Will Be Airing a Highlight Special for This Week’s Broadcast

Mnet’s music program “M!Countdown” will be taking a break from it’s regular broadcast this week for the closing of the first half of the year.

A representative of CJ E&M revealed on June 26, “Instead of a live show this week, a special highlight broadcast is scheduled to air.”

Unlike other broadcast stations that invite all artists to participate in their music programs for the end of the first half of the year, Mnet has decided to skip out and replace it with a special highlights reel.

“M!Countdown” is one of the major trending K-pop chart shows, during which fans are able to watch Korea’s representative singers and groups. On last week’s broadcast, BIGBANG’s Taeyang won first place for the second week in a row with his solo title track, “Eyes, Nose, Lips.”
