After the shooting, the actress talked about herself in comparison with the character she portrayed in her recent movie "Gyeongju." On her on-screen character, Shin Min Ah said, "During practices, I'm calm and I'm sometimes firm towards some of my friends. I don't think I'm like other girls. I'm the type who likes stuff that are old style. I used to be called an old young." The actress also talked about her preference towards "ssomaek" which is beer with mixed with soju, and said, "I don't really savor alcohol but I drink it because I want to have fun. When I get drunk, I laugh and run around a lot. Honestly I think I drink because I want go to karaoke bars." Like the characters she portrayed in "Arang and the Magistrate" and "My Girlfriend is a Gumiho," Shin Min Ah has always played a fun and loving female character and she has done it again through this charming movie "Gyeongju." When asked if there is a particular character she would never play, she said, "I don't think I could ever play a pitiful and sorrowful character. I have never gotten the experience to play one and even if I did, I won't be able to pull it off. It's no fun and there's no charm in it."
