It has been belatedly revealed that BEAST member Jang Hyunseung injured his ankle.

According to broadcast official on June 20, Hyunseung sustained a sprained ankle in the middle of BEAST’s comeback stage rehearsal for Mnet’s “M!Countdown” on June 19.

On that day, the group performed “We Up” and the title song “Good Luck” from their new album for the first time on a music program. After getting emergency care, Hyunseung safely pulled through with the comeback stage. Immediately following the broadcast, the singer was taken to the hospital to receive proper treatment.

A representative from the group’s agency, Cube Entertainment, revealed, “Although he received first aid care after injuring his ankle and was able to go through with the performance, he has not completely recovered. He is planning to go to the hospital again today. He will get proper care so that it does not affect their stage.”

Meanwhile, BEAST released their sixth mini album, “Good Luck,” on June 17 and had their first comeback stage on “M!Countdown” on June 19. The group will have another comeback performance through the June 20 broadcast of KBS 2TV’s “Music Bank” as well, and Hyunseung plans to participate in it, despite his injury.
