On June 17, Lee Seung Gi’s rep confirmed the actor’s successful recovery: “He’s gotten much better. He’s continuously been back and forth from the hospital, but his condition has recovered to the point that it will not affect filming.”

The rep continued, “Because there is no need for surgery, we are just planning on periodic hospital trips for treatment. Thank you to everyone who was supportive in Lee Seung Gi’s recovery, and we apologize.”

Previously, on June 13, Lee Seung Gi was photographed entering a hospital with what looked like a swollen face and eye, which led fans to question the initial statement saying that Lee Seung Gi had recovered and could return to filming.
