Ha Ji Won to Return as Singer After 11 Years

Yes, you read that right. Actress Ha Ji Won previously released a studio album titled “Home Run” back in May 2003 and will make a return as a singer with digital single “Right Here” (working title).

The track will be released through various online music sites on June 13. The lyrics is written by Jung Kyung Soon, the scriptwriter for MBC drama “Empress Ki.” Composer Jung Jae Yoon, part of popular 90’s group Solid, penned the music and also produced the track.

Ha Ji Won formed a close relationship with the staff of “Empress Ki,” which was on air for seven months. The drama ended in at the end of April this year, but it’s been reported that Ha Ji Won isn’t able to let go of her character Seung Nyang. Despite her busy schedule, Ha Ji Won decided to record a song as a way to thank the fans.

The busy actress also plans to hold her first official fan meeting “Right Here” (working title) in Tokyo, Japan.
