Newsie
Actor Lee Seung Gi is currently recovering from his recent injury. Lee Seung Gi’s representative said on June 12, “He is continuing to rest and take it easy. The hospital said to keep an eye on his progress for about three to four days, so we’re going to see how he is this weekend first and then determine whether or not we can return to filming.” This past June 9, while filming an action scene for the SBS drama “You’re Surrounded,” Lee Seung Gi sustained an injury to the eye, stabbed by a prop knife. Afterwards, the actor was taken to the hospital for emergency treatment. Doctors said there was damage to the cornea and bleeding in the front of the eye. While Lee Seung Gi insisted on returning to the film set, the doctor strongly advised otherwise. Due to the suspended filming from Lee Seung Gi’s injury, the June 11 broadcast of “You’re Surrounded” has been canceled.
