SHINee’s Taemin, CNBLUE’s Jonghyun, and Infinite’s Sungkyu recently held a special performance for fans in Brazil.

An official from KBS’ “Music Bank” said to Star News on June 11, “During the June 7 ‘Music Bank in Brazil’ held in Rio de Janeiro, Taemin, Jonghyun, and Sungkyu sang ‘The Girl from Ipanema’ in Portuguese. It was said that Sungkyu's accent was that of the Sao Paulo dialect, Taemin's the Rio de Janeiro dialect, and Jonghyun's a mix of the two, to the satisfaction of the local audience.”

“The Girl from Ipanema” is a famous song from Brazil, and is often used for movie soundtracks.

The official said, “For close to three hours, the audience was wild. I’ve been on a lot of world tours, but I’ve never seen a crowd as excited as this before.”

“Music Bank in Brazil” will air on June 18 at 11PM (KST).
