Han Hye Jin and Ki Sung Yueng Donate All Congratulatory Money from Wedding

It has been belatedly revealed that actress Han Hye Jin and soccer player Ki Sung Yueng have donated all of the congratulatory money from their wedding to those in need.

On June 5, the actress' agency Namoo Actors revealed that the couple donated 60 million won (60,000 USD) to World Vision after their wedding last year. The funds were used to help pay the medical fees of those under the national welfare support program.

Thanks to the donation, families unable to afford expensive medical procedures like transplant surgeries and treatments for acute leukemia were able to successfully undergo them. 

Regarding the generous act, Namoo Actors commented, "We did not reveal the news at the time of the wedding, as we were unsure if their honesty would be noticed. As the news of Han Hye Jin lending her voice for a good cause through World Vision emerged, they wanted to share the news of the donation as well. Behind our backs, Han Hye Jin and Ki Sung Yueng are actively giving back to the society."
