A Pink Explains Why They Have Never Done a Sexy Concept

The members of A Pink have revealed the reason for not having done a sexy concept since their debut.

On the June 7 broadcast of KBS 2TV’s “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook,” girl group A Pink appeared as one of the guests to perform, and also sat down for a brief interview.

During the interview, Yoo Hee Yeol asked the question that many people have been wondering: why has A Pink continued to maintain an innocent image and never tried a sexy concept? To this, A Pink leader Chorong explained, “As a woman, it’s a good thing to hear that you’re sexy, but we still have an underage member in our group. Our maknae, Hayoung, is 19 years old (17, international age). Also, we don’t really have the figures to be called sexy. We think it would be better to show a natural sexiness that happens with age, so we haven’t thought too much about doing a sexy concept yet.”

Eunji also added, “When we decide on a direction, we want to look cool [rather than sexy]. Depending on age, there is a different aura that comes out. We want to continue doing concepts that are fitting for our age.”
