BTS Debuts at Number Six on Oricon Charts in Japan

Boy group BTS came at number six on the Daily Oricon Chart with their Japanese debut track "No More Dream" on June 4.

The first Japanese single album from BTS consists of the Japanese version of their hit "No More Dream," along with the Japanese version of "Rise of Bangtan" and "Like!." Popular Japanese rapper KM Markit collaborated with the group for the Japanese lyrics on the album.

BTS is currently signed to Japanese entertainment company Pony Canyon for their activities in Japan.

Meanwhile, "The Commitment," the movie starring Big Bang's T.O.P, topped the Oricon DVD Chart at number one with its release.

Boy groups BEAST, Boyfriend, and FTISLAND also placed in top ten on the Oricon Weekly Music Chart. BEAST's new single "Adrenaline" sold 32,023 copies in the first week, placing at number six on the weekly chart. Boyfriend sold 19,296 copies of their Japanese single, coming in at number nine. FTISLAND's new album "New Page" sold 22,169 copies, coming in at number six on the weekly album sales chart.
