"1 Night 2 Days" Cancels Shooting as Producers Join KBS Labor Union Strike, "Wonderful Days" Resumes Filming

KBS's popular variety show "1 Night 2 Days" has canceled its shooting scheduled for June 6 and June 7, according to an announcement made by a representative on June 3.

The reason for the cancellation of "1 Night 2 Days" shoot is due to the KBS Labor Union strike, which started on May 29. "1 Night 2 Days" Chief Producer Seo Soo Min and Producer Yoo Ho Jin are participating in the strike demanding KBS President Kil Hwan Young to step down.

According to representatives of the show, "the shoot has been cancelled but we have enough footage for this week's programming. However, if the strike continues, we are not sure if we can continue shooting."

Meanwhile, KBS weekend drama "Wonderful Days" has resumed shooting on June 1. They previously canceled filming on May 29 and 30 due to the strike, but had enough footage for the May 31 and June 1 broadcast. If they were not to resume shooting, they might have had issues for this week's broadcast. This week's broadcast will air as planned.
