"The Pirates" Starring Kim Nam Gil and Son Ye Jin Releases First Trailer and Character Posters

The upcoming Korean film “The Pirates” has finally made its first move, with its first trailer and character poster releases.

“The Pirates” is a film depicting the battle between pirates and bandits in a race to find the great seal, which disappeared a fortnight before the establishment of Joseon into the belly of a whale. The ones to find the seal will be the ones to rule the world.

The trailer gives viewers a glimpse into the grand scale of the action-packed film and introduces the two major players: Kim Nam Gil, the bandit, and Son Ye Jin, the pirate.

Also released with the trailer were 11 character posters, showing the main forces of the bandits and the pirates, including Yoo Hae Jin and Sulli (f(x)).

The movie is set to premiere this summer.
