sbs 'tears of diamond' episode 15:

IH = son in-ha (yoon hae young)

HM = choi hyeong-min (kim seong min)

GH = jin ga-hee (hong eun hee)

YS = yi-seok (lee jae hwang)

HJ = hyeon-ja (IH's bestfriend)

HG = hwang-gu (HJ and IH's guy friend)

YG = yong-gyu (GH's ex. mr. jin's right hand guy)

AI = ahn-in (IH's deceased daugher)

CAI = choi ahn-in (HM and GH's daughter)

HS = hyeon-seok (HJ's brother)

HM arrives at work and finds out he was demoted to vice-president from president. he goes to see mr. jin and kneels before him, asking for his forgiveness for suspecting HJ like that.

mr. jin tells him to get up cuz he has to ask him something as an employer to employee. mr. jin says he's heard that HM's under some blackmail and wants an explanation. HM says it has to do with his father's old company.

mr. jin asks if HM's been lying to him this whole time and HM says no he only found out about it a few days ago. mr. jin tells HM to settle the matter by the end of the day and HM says okay and leaves, heavy hearted.

HG is cleaning the office, and YS tells him his phone's ringing. HG asks who's calling when he's so busy and YS reads the caller id and says it's choi hyeong-min, then asks HG how he knows HM. HG and IH both gasp. HG takes the phone from YS and goes outside, telling YS it's a different CHM, since he wouldn't know the other HM who is so high up.

HG goes out and tells HM to have the money ready by tonight 8 pm. IH comes and asks HG if he asked HM for money and HG says yes and if he did wrong. IH says no, but asks HG what he will do if HM doesn't have the money ready by tonight.

meanwhile, HM is desparately trying to get money ready. he first calls his hostess friend jong-mi whose voicemail says she's on vacation til next month. HM then goes to see GH and finds GH's sister-in-law and HJ at GH's office.

HM asks GH to talk outside, and the sister-in-law tells HJ HM's been demoted from president to vice-president. HJ asks if it has to do with her and the sister-in-law says mr. jin got very angry and all HJ needs to do is to be sincere.

outside GH tells HM there's no stopping mr. jin when he's angry. HM says he wants to see her for another reason and asks for money. GH asks if it's for his mom again and HM says no. GH refuses and HM says without that money he's gonna die. GH ridicules saying he's just like his mother and leaves.

GH runs into YG who asks if he's complicated things for her now that he's been named the president. GH congratulates him and tells him not to disappoint mr. jin.. then pauses, and asks YG not to disappoint her either.

GH goes back to her office and asks HJ to explain her sincerity. HJ says she wants to marry after seeing what happened to IH. HJ then begins to tell GH and mr. jin's daughter-in-law about how IH gave up everything for love, got pregnant, but he ran away with everything. and later when IH went to see him for money to save her daughter for the surgery she needed she ended up losing both the daughter and the mother after HM tried to rape IH.

HJ says before she met mr. jin she didn't believe in love, but it was IH who told her to be happy. GH and the sister-in-law are both really shocked by what happened to IH, and asks HJ what happened to the guy who left IH and HJ says he just ran away. GH asks HJ where IH is right now and she goes to see IH at the store.

GH asks IH if they can go have fun and IH agrees, saying she'll just go get ready. just then YS comes and asks GH if everything's okay. GH says she heard about what happend to IH and feels so sorry. YS thanks GH and she asks him to lend her IH for a little while. YS says okay and tells IH to have a good time.

IH takes GH to the field where YS takes her and tells GH that's the only the place she knows, and it's where YS takes her whenever he wants to scold her. GH says she didn't know YS did such thing and IH says after she got out of the hospital she thought YS was her brother and according to HJ YS sort of raised IH these last few years.

IH asks GH if everything's okay and GH says HM tried to get money from her again for his mom and she wants to end her mother-in-law leaching off of them for good. IH comments she didn't know they had such marital problem and GH says from the outside no one ever suspects anything wrong. then GH asks IH if she knows how to golf and decides to teach IH how to play golf after IH says she doesn't.

HM goes to the bank and tries to get a loan. the banker says they just have to verify everything with his company but HM doesn't want them to contact his work. then HM goes to see a shady lender who says they can't lend them money either. HM asks then who can lend him money since he owns nothing under his name and the guy tells him HM's only option is to sell any valuables he owns.

HM takes his cufflink to a jeweler and tells them how much he needs. just then his mother text-messages him saying she needs money or else she's gonna die. HM hangs up and takes out his batteries. HM's mother's with HS and the man IH hired. she owes them a ton of money from gamblig and HM's mother continues to call HM trying to get some money to bail her out.

IH gets a textmessage from HS telling her not to answer the phone if HM"s mother calls. HM's mother textmessages IH, and then GH for money. GH tells IH she knew about how bad HM"s mother was since she was a child but she was desparate when she married HM so she didn't worry about HM's mother. the two women go in the sauna and IH looks at GH, wondering why YG didn't choose such a great woman like GH.

GH replies YG had a steady girlfriend since highschool, and he wouldnt' betray his girlfriend for GH. that's why GH wanted to marry before YG did to show him how hurt she was but she made the mistake of her life by marrying HM so soon because soon after YG married he divorced and had she waited a little she could've been with YG. IH asks why GH didn't tell her family about YG but GH says everyone know YG"s girlfriend and her father always looked at YG as a son so she didn't know how to say it.

IH asks if GH wants to start something again with YG and GH says she doesn't think about that.. only she wishes HM would have an affair and initiate divorce with her.

GH drops IH off and IH thanks her for a great day.

HM comes to the street bar where HG and HS are drinking and drops off some envelops with money. HG tells HM he should have a dirnk but HM turns to leave. HG says they're not finished cuz IH's mother sold her house and gave HM much more than the amount HM just gave them.

HM gets angry says he's gonna kill them if they don't leave him alone, and takes off. HG follows HM and begins to sing a made up song to the tune of a lullaby, 'the person infront of me is a thief, and the person behind is the friend of the victim'.. HM gets furious and HG says he can prove that HM is a killer.

HM says he's not a killer and they have no evidence, but HG shows HM a picture of HM's rare cufflink which was in IH's mother's hand when she died. HM says he didn't kill them. but HG gets angry and teary and says even if he didn't kill them HM just left after seeing how AI was bleeding to death after getting hit by a car, and how IH's mother was also dying after he pushed her.

HM yells back saying he lived very difficulty with IH on his conscious the past few years. HG says HM's long from being finished, and HG leaves. HS throws the picture at HM and says HM hasn't even gone to the hospital once when IH lived there. HS leaves too, and HM says if they were in his shoes they would've done the same. that at the time IH seemed like she would wait but GH seemed like she wouldn't and he thought he could have both by getting GH first then IH next. he didn't know how things turned out so wrong but it wasn't his fault and why is everyone blaming everything on him.

IH and YS deliver a furniture to his mom and she complains about having to pay for furniture her son made. IH says she shouldn't pay but YS insists she pays or else he's gonna get allowance money from mom. YS complains he's hungry and YS's mom says she already has their meal prepared. just then IH's phone rings and it's HM.

HM: inha sshi, it's me. i'm in a lot of pain right now would you come?

IH: call gahee.

HM: no. please can you come?

IH: why are you like this?

HM: but i asked you to be my friend. but you bought me sul-rong-tang soup. but that means you accept me.. but that means you're gonna hold my hands.

IH says HM is drunk and hangs up. then turns off her phone. HM keeps on trying to call IH begging her to pick up but IH goes to the dining hall where YS and friends are and they enjoy a good time together having dinner and singing karaoke.

YS and IH are on their way home and YS appears to be a bit drunk but happy.. then he gets a serious look and talks to IH's mother through the ring. YS asks her mother to help him send his heart to IH since IH's mom and YS's hearts are the same.

IH tells YS to stop but YS continues.. kissing IH and caressing her.. and saying how sad it must be for IH to weep everynight looking at her mother and her daughter's picture.. and the two begin weeping together.

YS and IH arrive at IH's. IH gets out of the car and YS wishes her sweet dreams, and tells her not to think about anything. IH goes home and finds a note from HJ saying she went to bed already and she tried calling her but her phone was off.

IH tosses and turns and finally gets up to go to her work place, finding HM passed out at the doorsteps. IH hesitates then wakes ihm up telling him to go home.

HM says no since she is his home and calls her his woman over and over. then HM tries to embrace IH as she fights to pull away. IH turns away from HM and sees YS and GH arriving.. staring at disbelief at what they're seeing and IH just as shocked.

YS confronts IH asking how much was she planning on lying to him. infront of GH, IH asks HM if he plans on leaving korea.

HG tells HJ he loves her. YS meets with HM and later the two get in a fight.

just a little update... 'tears of diamond' will end on 11-25-05. 2 more weeks (4 more episodes at 19 ep. total).

I can't seem to stop crying after seeing In-ha hurt Yi-seok like that although I know she's doing it for his own good. It was even sadder when outside, In-ha said, "Goodbye, my love,".... smiley056ga.png

I'd really like to know what In-ha, Yi-seok and Hyung-min said during their respective conversations... :huh:

Ooohhh... and In-ha's former fiancee is back and he told everything to Yi-seok and Yong-gu... I can't stand seeing Yi-seok cry! smiley056ga.png

omgg... what HM is trying to do in the last scene in ep17?

so scary see Inha's face ... when she was trying to do tht to HM ...

How did Yong Gu went to find In Ha ex?I wonder y YS approach YongGu .. then YG went to get InHa ex back for the clarication?

IH hesitates but finally goes to wake up HM who is passed out on the doorsteps of her office. HM wakes up and tells her how glad he is that she came, and how she is his woman, and how he doesn't want to go home because she is his home.

HM tries to hug IH and when she finally fights him off IH sees YS and GH coming her way. YS goes to help HM and GH apologizes to IH and says HM never acted this way. IH says HM must be too drunk and mistaked IH for GH. GH takes HM home in a cab.

YS looks at IH and turns to leave. IH calls YS and asks how he can just leave and YS says nothing he says will change anything. inside the office, YS who already knows everything asks IH til when was she gonna lie to him.. IH pretends to play dumb and says HM was her ex-colleague who was close to CJ and HM's dad was her godfather.

YS asks why IH pretended not to know HM at the jin's and IH says because she wanted to find out if HM knew CJ's contact info. YS asks IH if she really must take revenge on CJ and IH says she must and she's not a woman who can give YS any love so he should just leave her alone. YS cries and IH leaves... saying 'goodbye nice man' to YS outside when she's alone.

next morning, HM wakes up and finds GH sleeping on the couch. HM asks GH why she's sleeping there and GH asks who he was referring to when he was begging someone not to leave him last night. HM responds he doesn't remember anything and why he was at the IH/YS's office last night, and why he called everyone to meet him there.

GH says he's embarassing her and HM apologizes for all the trouble he's caused and begs GH for forgiveness. GH wonders what happened to the cocky confident HM, wondering again who was the woman HM missed last night since him and GH were never lovers. HM yells and asks why she married him in that case and why she never treated him sincerely for once when they even have a child together. GH asks HM if they should just let it all out and call it quits, and HM apologizes again asking for forgiveness.

GH goes to see her daugther sleeping... HM is alone and thinks aloud, saying this is why he misses IH so much because in his home he's never had a warm cup of coffee.

HJ meets with IH at a wedding attire shop and HJ says she feels uneasy about IH and tells her she and YS should get married as soon as HJ and mr. jin marry. IH tells HJ about what happened with YS last night and HJ says she's worried that YS will get hurt and worries about IH giving up her life for HM again...

just then mr. jin arrives and while HJ is getting changed, mr. jin tells IH about his plan to expand YS/IH's business offering them to one of the jin's factories outside of seoul. IH asks if that means YS has to go daegu city for a while and mr. jin says yes.. IH is happy to hear it and asks mr. jin to allow that to happen.

HJ comes out with her wedding gown and both IH and mr. jin are impressed by the bride's beauty. IH leaves.. and she talks to her mother saying everything's falling into pieces.. and everyone she loves has a place to go now... just then she hears GH calling her and waving from across the street.. IH smiles at GH but quietly tells GH not to get any closer since she's just using her....

HM is at work and gets a call from his mom saying if he doesn't bail her out now they'll both die.

mr. jin's daughter-in-law and YG chat briefly at work and she tells him he should get married too so he won't be so lonely..

mr. jin meets with YS and shows him the prenup HJ wrote. YS asks why HJ did such thing and mr. jin tells YS he needs his help, then asks YS to put some of mr. jin's assets in YS's company through the daegu office for HJ because he doesn't want to see HJ suffer after he dies and he can't trust his children with such request.

meanwhile GH and IH are shopping for new golf clubs... and the two go golfing. IH says if she were a man she would want to marry GH and GH asks if it's because her family is rich.. IH says not just that but because GH is also beautiful, smart, and kind-hearted. then IH asks how GH's husband views her and GH says HM measures her with money.

HM and YS run into each other in the elevator alone. YS asks HM if they can talk and the two walk downstairs, with HG waiting for them in the garage. HM asks YS if he means to include HG and YS says no but asks him to meet him at a distant cafe.

GH and IH take a break from golfing and talk over coffee. IH asks GH about how she ended up with HM and GH says HM had a woman when they met. IH asks her if she stole him away from another woman and GH says no, that he initiated the call and the proposal. then GH talks about how this morning she had a fight with HM and she feels guilty probably because she is getting old and she thinks she needs to treat HM better if they're gonna live together for the rest of their lives..

GH then says her achilles heel is HM's mother who's always causing trouble and whenever she does it drives GH crazy... the two leave to resume golfing and IH calls her hired-man to give him instructions on what to do with HM's mother.

YS and HM meet. YS asks HM what CJ is doing these days. HM asks who that is.. and YS says he should know him better than him. then YS asks if he knew about AI being born and HM smiles, saying he raised AI from the beginning (referring to him and GH's daughter) so that is a silly question. YS gets up and tells HM he'll contact him again and tells him to show up then for everything to be revealed.

HM calls GH asking where she is. GH says she's in kangnam. IH asks GH why HM called and GH says HM wanted to book a vacation as a wedding present for mr. jin and HJ so he's at the travel agency and wants GH to come meet him. IH asks GH if she should come along and GH says yes. the two arrive at the agency, overhearing HM trying to book an extended vacation around the world for 2 adults and a child.

IH asks HM if he wants to leave korea and HM says he was just asking.. HM appears nervous about IH's presence and IH comments he must be shy. then outside, IH says she's hungry and GH suggests they go eat. IH asks if they should eat sul-rong-tang and GH suggests seafood instead. IH looks at HM and says he must like seafood...

they go eat japanese food and GH tells IH she should stop eating tempura cuz that's the cheap stuff and she should eat the sashimi instead. IH looks at GH and says she's like her mother. GH excuses herself to use the washroom and tells HM to treat IH respectively not like last time.

while GH is gone, HM offers IH cooked oysters saying since she's never had sashimi she might prefer cooked seafood. GH gets out of the washroom and gets a textmessage from HM's mother saying unless they come to bail her out with 1 uk won right now she's gonna die. GH ignores it and orders a strong sake from the waitress.

GH starts to drink infront of HM and IH and IH asks what happened. GH says it's her achille's heel acting up again and HM suggests they should leave and GH can drink at home. GH says no.

meanwhile HG watches YS pack for daegu city and YS gives him some glances... HG asks what's up and YS asks HG if he's job is to stop YS, since IH's on a revenge mission, and HJ's job is mr. jin. HG says no such thing. just then HJ and mr. jin arrive. mr. jin says they're here to buy furniture for their new home.

HG is surprised and asks if they're really gonna get married. mr. jin says of course. HG pulls HJ out and yells at HJ saying he thought she was just pretending to marry mr. jin for IH"s revenge and HJ says she's being serious with mr. jin. HG says he loves HJ and it's all HM's fault.. HG leaves to look for HM. HJ tries to stop him by following him.

inside mr. jin asks YS if he wants to have a double wedding. YS looks pessimistic and mr. jin offers YS the advice that the best thing to do is put a ring on the woman you love. YS asks mr. jin for advice about which is more important, revenge or forgiveness. mr. jin says it depends and asks YS if he wants to go after IH's ex. YS says nothing and mr. jin says he's gonna find IH's ex quiety behind IH and HJ's back so that the two women can have peace.

at the japanese restaurant, IH appears drunk and ill from the sake. GH tells HM about his mom's textmessage and HM apologizes. the bill comes and HM asks GH what he should do with it. GH says to put it on the credit card and HM says nothing. GH asks if he gave his card to his mom and HM says she didn't have any money for meals. GH gets more angry and tells HM to take IH home and then go take care of his mom's situation.

HM gets a cab and sits in the back with IH. he tries to put his arms around IH and she pulls away, saying she's not drunk. she was just giving him and GH some privacy since they seemed to need it to talk over things...

IH asks HM to stop the cab cuz she wants to walk home and HM insists to take her home. HM calls IH and she turns to look at him. HM says he just wanted to say her name and apologizes for disturbing her.

HG and YS are drinking soju at the office.. HG asks YS what he's gonna do after HJ marries mr. jin.. YS suggests he should stop her now in that case.. HG says HJ doesn't see him as a man. HG says it's all HM's fault and passes out.

YS goes to see YG at night at the office. YS asks why YG's working so late and YG says he has a lot to do before he leaves for daegu tomorrow. YS asks where HM is. then YS says he has some important things to talk to him about and the two go to YS's mom's place to talk.

YG tells YS's mom they're both leaving for daegu tomorrow. YS asks his mom to step out and YS's mom complains but leaves. YG and YS are alone and YS tells YG IH's mom and daughter died. YG says IH said something about regret and loss at the jin's. YS tells YG about a guy named chul jong and YG says he CJ was an employee at the jin company.

YS says he needs to stop IH and HJ before more ppl are hurt...

YS's mother gets a bad vibe about YS and YG meeting and calls HJ to tell her about YG and YS meeting, and asks her if IH is really suffering from amnesia and HJ says of course she is. YS's mother says to meet tomorrow and HJ agrees.

then HJ calls IH and asks IH where she is. IH says she's just infront of the apt and HJ says to hurry and come in. IH says okay and hangs up. HM is standing infront of IH and he asks IH if she can be with him tonight. IH looks surprised. HM says he can get a divorce. IH asks why he's acting this way and HM says he loves her. IH gets angry and tells him she's not the woman he loved.

HM says he's gonna die and asks IH to save him. IH stares at HM...

HM gets on his knees infront of IH and begs for forgiveness for all the wrongs he's done, and tells IH he misses her so much he's going crazy.. and all he thinks about is to get back together with her.

IH stares at him and leaves. HM calls her name and begs her not to leave him alone; IH turns and tells him she just wants to live a normal life like everyone else and she wants to live with the guy she loves who loves her back and be grateful that they're together.

HM continues to beg IH to be with him saying he's gonna get a divorce and him and IH can start a new life together. IH says she's not the woman he loved, and asks him why he's lying to her saying he loved her before.. then IH gets very upset and says if HM really loved her she wouldn't have suffered memory loss and they would already be together.

HM says that's why he's asking for her forgivess.. but IH says her parents didn't give birth to her so she can steal another woman's man.. and life is too short for her to live with guilt.. and she has no desire to be with HM... HM asks her to forgive him again and again.. saying he's already paid for his mistakes.. but IH says she's gonna have to punish him for giving so many people pain just so he can have a good life.

HM says if she gives him pain she will end up paying for it too but IH leaves, then she says to herself she can't forgive him because HM is still not sorry for his mistakes.. because he's still not honest.. because he's still alive....

meanwhile, YG, YS, are meeting with CJ, who tells YG he will never forgive HM because before HM IH was such an innocent and good woman.. but he turned her into the pitiful woman she is now.. causing her to lose her child, her mother, and revengeful...

YS can't bear to hear more from CJ and gets up to leave, and cries outside... silently asking IH why she's so foolish....

inside, CJ asks YG if YS is a good man and YG says yes. CJ says in that case he should get IH to marry YS soon so she won't torture herself with her plans.. YG agrees.

YG calls GH and asks if there is any hope left for him. GH gets emotional and asks him what he's talking about. YG says he's talking about what only the two of them know. GH says they should meet and talk tomorrow but YG says he's leaving for daegu tomorrow. GH holds back tears and YG asks her for an answer.

GH says she's gonna hang up and hangs up. GH silently tells YG she'll go to him after HM leaves her.. or else she'll be too sorry towards HM and all 3 of them would be so pitiful...

GH's sister-in-law knocks and asks if HM is back yet. GH says no and the sister-in-law says HM's mother called and cried, begging her to come. GH says she'll go and sees HM resting in his car. GH wakes him up and tells him to go see his mom cuz she seems to be in real trouble this time. HM says okay and drives off.

after he leaves, GH says she wants to dump him because of his mom, but she also feels sorry because of his mom.

HM arrives at his mom's and sees police seizing the place and taking her into custody. the police takes both HM and his mom into the police car and HS, who is watching, calls IH to report what's happening.

IH tells HJ it's time she made HM divorce, saying HM told her he would divorce GH if IH wants him back.. and IH's gonna continue to play dumb about the past and pretend to start a new life with HM.

at the jin's GH and her sister-in-law are wondering where HM is. the sister-in-law calls HM who tells her they're at the police station. GH and the sister-in-law arrive and sees HM's mother telling the police she's a victim too and she was conned. GH gets upset and embarrased at what she sees and leaves. the sister-in-law goes after her to stop GH from leaving.

GH says she doesn't want to be the same kind of human as HM's mother and whenever she sees her she wonders why she must endure this kind of life.... the sister-in-law says she understands and GH says she doesn't because she never had to endure such a mother-in-law... GH says she can't live like this anymore fooling herself.. just then YG comes and tells her to go home, that he'll take care of everything and the lawyer is on his way.

the sister-in-law says she's gonna go inside briefly and leaves YG and GH alone. YG tells GH she should get a divorce because her and HM are not compatible... and if she doesn't initiate YG is gonna initiate the divorce process.. GH looks at YG and asks what about CAI and YG says the child will be able to forget the father she knew for 7 years if she spend the rest of her life knowing YG as her father.. then YG apologizes to GH for making her suffer these years... and that he'll take care of things from now on. GH looks touched and quietly weeps.

YG goes in the police station and sees HM's mother yelling, complaining about how rich they are and how they wouldn't do such silly things as taking out equity loan cuz they have much more money than that... HM gets furious and tells her mom to shut up. HM's mother gets quiet and sees the sister-in-law shedding tears.. HM's mom asks her if she's crying cuz she feels sad for the mistreatment HM is giving her and the sister-in-law says no, she's crying because she feels sorry for HM to have such a mother who doesn't even act like a mother.. and starts to complain about what a horrible mom she is.

HM's mother is speechless and tells YG to go buy her a cup of coffee.. YG escorts the sister-in-law outside to GH, and goes back inside... HM's mother gets up and says she's leaving since her son is the president at jin company. YG says he is now the president not HM. HM's mother starts to go off at HM about how stupid he is to get demoted and stuff.. HM gets up to leave, but the police says they're not done yet and says HM's mother had mentioned HM killed an adult and a child before. HM gets defensive and says who told her such nonsense. YG tells HM to calm down and tells HM's mother she shouldn't lie about such things. the mom says she's not a liar. YG looks at HM who looks down speechless.

GH is taking her sister-in-law home and the sister-in-law says GH shouldn't act that way, not even acknowledging her husband in a situation where he needs her most. GH asks if she'll never speak to her if she gets a divorce. the sis-in-law tells GH divorce is foolish and tells GH to not live so foolishly.

IH arrives at their furniture store and HG tells her they have a surprise for her. CJ is sitting on the couch and stands to greet IH. the two go and talk over coffee. IH stares at the table and CJ tells her to raise her head, but IH says to him she will always be a sinner so she can't sit straight. CJ shows her his wallet with picture of his family. his wife and two children. CJ says he's happy and he's got a beautiful wife and beautiful kids, so she shouldn't feel bad.

CJ says he feels bad he didn't do anything to stop HM back then when he received so much love from IH's mother when she was alive. IH says no, that she's the one who left him.

CJ asks IH if she still believes he slept with that woman from the bar that one night and IH says she's not the same IH from before and to her HM is not that important anymore.. and all she wants to do is quietly watch how far HM will go...

CJ says she is indeed a different IH, and IH tearfully thanks CJ for reappearing so healthy and so happy.. making her feel less quilty about the mistakes she made against him..

IH goes back to the office and asks YS why he's at the office. YS says because he thought she might come to the office instead. YS asks IH if they should go live abroad, and takes out a ring box to give to IH. IH looks away and YS asks why she won't open it and IH says because she knows what it is and it's not what she wants.

YS tells IH to put her mother to a peaceful rest at last, and start wearing his ring. IH says no, and she wants to be with her mother. YS says at this rate she's gonna head back to the hospital soon and IH disagrees, then says they're not a good match and if he tries to stop her it's like asking her to die. YS says it's his business to stop the woman he wants to marry from avenging another man.

IH says she doesn't want to marry YS.. .

IH: "and choi hyeong-min is not another man. he's my husband. the father of my child. my mother's son-in-law. don't get involved in our marital problem. to me, choi hyeong-min is the only man. you were a substitute but you were not unable to erase him. so stop acting like a man. "

IH gets up and leaves. YS looks at the ring and silently tells IH he meant what he said to her when he told her he was gonna protect her.. and if she must avenge he will do it for her.. YS calls YG and asks about status with HM. YG says they have no evidence against HM for any crime but he'll first ask him to divorce GH. then YG tells YS to come and meet him.

YG turns and sees HM coming out with the lawyer and his mom. YG asks HM if he doesn't even know how to say thank you and says to talk together, after sending HM's mom home with the lawyer.

YG and HM are standing by the river and YG tells HM to get a divorce, and tell mr. jin he wants to be on his own and disappear for good. HM says why would he and YG says he's not even a man and he already knows everything. HM gets upset and says he didn't do anything wrong and there's no evidence. YG says just because there's no evidence doesn't mean there wasn't a crime, and suggests that HM just disappear.

HM continues to lie saying IH is the crazy one who's lying about everything. YG says HM is really despicable for saying such thing about IH who suffered so much already, and HM is a fool for not taking all the second chances ppl have given him.. just then CJ arrives and says he can't forgive HM either. HM goes nuts and asks where he came from and starts to lie about IH again saying she's not recovered from her mental illness and she's making everything up.

YG leaves and CJ starts to beat up HM.

meanwhile IH is sitting at the furniture store and YS's mother arrives. and asks IH if she remembers everything. IH says nothing.

the two go outside and YS's mother tells IH to stop now so that the people who love her can continue to be with her. IH thanks her for the advice but she can't seem to heed to any advice or any words.. because her head is full of hate and no goodness can enter it.

YS's mother says it's time to stop her revenge because it's only gonna hurt herself more. and IH says she's not avenging, and she's just punishing herself for loving the wrong person... and she can't stop because she hates herself too much she can't forgive herself.

YS's mother asks IH if she wants to make everyone else suffer along her and IH says not to worry because YS won't love her anymore... IH says her heart wasn't big enough for 2 men and she had to let YS out.. hoping he will find happiness. YS's mom is touched and asks IH if she was hurt when she disapproved her being with YS, but IH says no because she was a mother too and she understands the heart of a mother.

YS goes to see her mom's companion and asks for his help. the companion asks YS if he must go so far and YS says he would do the same in his shoes and the companion says he'll take care of everything in that case and asks YS not to get involved.

YS says he must block all the possible roads HM might take so he can stop him for finding another way to hurt IH.

HM is walking on the streets alone and quietly talks to IH, saying it would've been better had she just died with her mother.. then things wouldn't have this complicated.. and asks IH if she survived to love him one more time.. and in that case he will love her one last time.

GH is looking over the divorce paper when CAI comes in. GH asks her if she can live without her father, if it's okay for her to just meet with her once in a while. the little girl says yes since she already does that, with HM working late all the time. GH gives her a hug and CAI says all she needs is her mom.

meanwhile, HM is at a internet cafe typing then printing a document. afterwards he gets drunk and rings the bell outside IH's apt.

mr. jin is having dinner with all the women in his family (GH, CAI, sister-in-law, and HJ) and IH. CAI asks mr. jin why the men are missing and mr. jin says HM isn't answering his phone and the son is on a business errand. GH toasts to HJ saying if she mistreats her dad she's not gonna forgive her. CAI copies her mom and toasts to IH, saying if she mistreats her dad she won't forgive her. IH gets eery.

mr. jin says this is why adults need to watch what they say infront of children because they copy everything. IH gets a moment alone with GH in the restroom and asks GH if something's matter since she seems troubled. GH says she wants a divorce but everyone seems to want to stop her...

YG goes to see HM's mom and hands her a plane ticket, telling her it's tomorrow morning's flight. YG says he's gonna take care of her expenses and she's to return to the states tomorrow. HM's mom is appalled at YG telling her what to do and starts to call out HM insanely.

IH returns to her apt and finds a passes out HM. IH finds an envelope in HM's suit pocket and takes out the document inside, which is a fake suicide letter. in the letter, HM pretends to be IH saying how sorry she is to trouble everyone and she has no desire to live and that's why she killed herself, signed, inh-ha.

IH realizes HM planned to kill her and make it look like a suicide, rolls up the letter into a ball and attempts to strangle HM....

upon finding out about HM's plan to forge her suicide note, IH is about to strangle HM but she comes to her senses and wakes up HM instead, asking why he's at her doorstep.

HM, who is startled to be awaken by IH appears to be scared of IH. IH tells him she's gonna escort him to his home and extends her hand out to him, telling him to grab her hand and not let go, or else he might fall.

HM hugs her and tells her he wishes she would remember everything so she can clear his name. IH pulls away and tells him she doesn't want to do this with another woman's man. HM says he's not another woman's man and IH asks if he's her husband in that case. HM says he doesn't want to go home, and IH invites him in her home...

inside, IH tells HM HJ might come home anytime with mr. jin, and HM says he doesn't want to linger around if that's the case and asks IH to call HJ where she is... IH complies but pretends to call HJ saying she's with the guy HJ doesn't like but since HM says he likes her she wants to be with him. then IH tells HM HJ will be home in 30 minutes.

meanwhile, HJ is at the gym helping mr. jin work out. IH hangs up the pretend call and wipes HM's face.. seeing that HM is pulling away, IH asks if they were really lovers before and asks him if he left her because of GH. HM says it was because of his debt.. IH goes to the bathroom to rinse the towel and finds HM missing from the living room.

IH realizes HM must be sneaking in the bedroom and gets her mom's picture to show to HM, who denies ever meeting the mom. HM asks IH what happened to her mom and IH shows him her diamond ring. IH says she has to change and tells HM to wait outside.

HM tells IH he wishes IH could clear his name for him and IH says she can do that if he gets a divorce. HM says if he gets a divorce he will have nothing left and IH says that's not a problem because they can start over as long as they're healthy. HM says he's scared of doing that but IH says she'll give him a week to get a divorce or else she's gonna tell HJ to continue torturing HM.

after HM leaves, IH looks at the fake suicide letter again. HM arrives home and realizes the letter is missing. he gets nervous and calls IH asking if he left an envelope there. IH says there is and HM asks her not to look at it no matter what and return it to him tomorrow. IH asks if there's money inside and HM says just don't open it. IH says okay but asks him to bring her a divorce paper in exchange or else she's gonna open it infront of mr. jin and HJ. HM says okay.

GH wakes up in the middle of the night and finds HM staring at her standing. GH turns on the light and tells him to go change immediately. HM asks GH why she never draws the bath water for him, or gets clean clothes ready for him, or asks if he's had dinner. GH argues back and HM laughs at her saying she's pitiful too and says she's gonna live just fine without him. GH asks if he wants a divorce and he's just pushing her to ask for a divorce first. HM lays down on the bed and GH tells him to go change first. HM wonders how happy he would've been if he had money and gets up to leave..

GH goes to drink in the kitchen when ae-ryung (sister-in-law) comes. GH tells AR that HM seems to be having an affair.. and asks AR if it's okay for her to just dump HM since she loves someone else too.. and she wants to live with that guy even if everyone resents her. AR asks GH who that guy is and GH tells her it's YG. mr. jin who is listening outside the kitchen overhears GH's confession. GH tells AR it's been very hard for her to watch how HJ and mr. jin love each other.. and she just wants to live with love too even if everyone resents her.. AR tells GH she had thought it was strange how quickly GH got married back then. mr. jin returns to his room shocked...

HM goes to see his long time hostess friend jong-mi (JM) at the bar. HM tells her she is his only friend and he wants to tell her some secrets. JM says it's pitiful that she is his only friend and she doesn't want to hear any secrets and be burdened by it, but HM insists and starts to tell her about how IH didn't actually die and how she reappeared.

meanwhile IH is typing a duplicate copy of HM's fake letter since she crumbled the orignial. at the bar, HM asks JM what he should do and JM tells him to leave cuz she doesn't want to be with him anymore. JM asks him how he can pretend like he didn't kill IH's mom and daughter.. and how he could've at least called the ambulance and if so IH's mom wouldn't have died.. and it's basic human courtesy to save even a puppy not to mention another person. JM tells HM she doesn't want to see him anymore and tells him to leave. HM goes out and starts to make excuses for all his actions and asks why everyone must insist it's his fault when he's not done anything wrong.

the valet worker and driver-for-hire finally put HM in his car and HM is driven away...

next morning on his way to work mr. jin sees HM passed out in his car and shakes his head. at the company YG and mr. jin arrive at work, mr. jin talks to YG on the rooftop. mr. jin asks YG if CAI is his daughter and YG says he doesn't yet know since he hasn't asked GH. mr. jin asks him when was he gonna ask GH and how is he gonna be responsible for the lives of other ppl who'se been lied to. YG says he plans to take GH and CAI and go away together even if mr. jin will never forgive them because he can no longer not do anything about GH. mr. jin asks how things have gotten this far and wonders how a man who can't even take care of his personal issues can take care of a big corporation. YG begs mr. jin to just pretend as he knows nothing untl he figures everything out.

mr. jin returns to his office and sees CJ waiting for him. CJ greets mr. jin who remembershim. CJ tells mr. jin about IH and HM and tells mr. jin to throw HM out right away because he took IH's mom's money yet betrayed them and caused IH's mom and IH's daughter AI to die. upon hearing AI's name mr. jin's heart acts up and tells CJ to get his medicine from his desk.

YS finds the suicide letter IH was typing and gets worried, calling YG to see where HM is. then as HS and HG arrive YS tells them to keep an eye on IH, and finds out HJ is the one who has HM's cufflink... saying he has use for it.

meanwhile HJ tells AR everything and asks AR to hurry and help GH get a divorce and leave the country so she can spared the hurtful truth. then HJ goes to see mr. jin and check in with him about their plan to go fishing tomorrow. mr. jin suggests they can bring IH along since HJ is worried about her but HJ says IH has some things to take care of now that she's found her betrayer. mr. jin asks HJ if she's part of IH's revenge plan too and HJ says no because she's a bad friend who fell in love and is busy getting married. mr. jin says he believes HJ, and says tomorrow morning they will leave together with AR, GH, CAI and mr. jin's son. HJ asks if HM will be going too and mr. jin says he's busy with something.

HG and YS are putting varnish over a chair when HJ arrives at the factory shop. HG starts to say something to mock HJ but she tells him this isn't the time for them to fight, then tells them that the jin family will all be going fishing tomorrow with the exception of HM.

meanwhile, YG gathers his thoughts at a cafe and goes to see HM in his office. YG hands him a stack of paperwork and tells him to leave the company. HM says if he's to leave he will leave on his own accord. YG says it's time for HM to own up to his mistakes and HM says he did no wrong and the issues with IH are personal matters and they have nothing to do with his work performance. YG tells HM to leave right away and he will keep his mouth shut, but HM begs YG to leave him alone. YG leaves and HM digs through the stack of paper, then throws them off his desk.. saying he's not giving up so easily and YG does not own the company and he's out of line.. and no match for him, HM.

AR goes to see YG and the two talk. AR tells YG GH told her everything and she doesn't want their relationship to startle mr. jin. YG says mr. jin already knows something and AR says he must have heard something when she was talking to GH at home. AR asks YG to take good care of things at work while she's gone. YG asks her where GH is and AR says she doesn't know and she's not answering her phone.

GH finds out she's pregnant and sighs.

IH watches as the hired guy she used against HM's mom leaves town. he tells IH he will live a straight life from now on. meanwhile 3 tough-looking debt collectors go in HM's mother's apt and starts to move all the valuables out. HM's mom says she has no money and she's leaving town tomorrow morning. the guys say how can she go to the states if she has no money and HM's mother takes off her mink coat and says it should pay for some of it. the guys say she still owes a ton of money and asks her if she wants to go to jail. HM's mother scrambles to get her phone...

GH calls IH and the two meet... GH tells IH she's 2 months pregnant. IH says nothing and GH asks her why she doesn't tell her to get an abortion. IH says it's GH's baby and she can't say such thing. GH says she thought abortion would be easy but it's difficult when you're actually pregnant. IH asks her if she loves HM and if not then it's not worth saving the marriage, then she tells GH to take care of herself first... GH says IH's different today and IH says she's merely being sensitive because GH is with child.

YS's mom tells her companion IH does not have memory loss. the companion says YS asked him for his father's phone number and it's time that they do something.

HM's mom is telling HM she's gonna be dragged by gangsters and he'll never see her again unless he gives her money right away. HM says he's got a lot to deal with right now and tells her to just leave tomorrow. she says she can't because the gangsters have all her ids and mentions they have all her personal info from the credit cards she used. HM asks her if she used the card he gave her and she says that and her own card. HM asks how she has her own card and she says IH opened one for her. HM is furious to hear about IH and his mom...
