Newsie
T-ara member Jiyeon will be making her comeback on music shows this week, but fans will see an adjusted choreography for her song "Never Ever." As the music video for the title song showed how Jiyeon's choreography consisted of leaning against a wall and swaying her body, non-cable music programs have requested that the singer change her choreography. The reason for the request was because representatives of the music programs had felt the choreography was too strong and suggestive for their broadcasts' viewership age range. Jiyeon's agency, Core Contents Media explained, "We were asked to change the dance routine of Jiyeon's song for her performances on non-cable music shows. However, our intentions for adding the hip dance in "Never End's" choreography was not to be sexual, but to portray emotions that matched the song. Yet, we also believe that the music programs do have a point, and we will adjust the choreography starting from May 24's 'Music Core' performance." Fans will able to watch Jiyeon's new choreography and performance for "Never Ever" on this weekend's MBC "Music Core" and SBS "Inkigayo."
