Super Junior-M has been crowned the “Best Group in Asia” at the Kugou Music Awards.

The ceremony was held on May 22 in Beijing, and the group flew to the Chinese capital to accept the award, and also to perform on stage. The boys performed two songs for the audience: "Swing" and "Break Down." About 6,000 people were in attendance at the event.

Accepting their prize, the group told the audience, “Thank you for giving us such a big award. Thanks also to our fans, and staff – we couldn't have done it without you all.”

The group also offered its congratulations to the Kogou Music Awards, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.

The group, a subgroup of Super Junior, has enjoyed considerable success in China, and features both Korean and Chinese members. Their latest mini-album, also entitled “Swing,” was released in March this year. The group won a Baidu Music Award for Best Group last year, and were also awarded a Yahoo! Asia Buzz Award for Taiwain’s Top Searched Artist in 2012.
