Secret's Hyosung Tops Weekly Single Chart in Japan with "Top Secret"

Recommended Posts

The first-ever solo single of Secret's Hyosung has been a great success also in Japan.

According to Japanese media sources, Hyosung's "Top Secret" topped the K-Pop Weekly Chart of Japan's leading record store Tower Records from May 12 to 18, confirming her status as a rising Hallyu star. The chart is purely based on the amount of sales during the week. In addition, labelmate B.A.P ranked third and sixth on the same chart with "No Mercy" and "One Shot."

As this is Hyosung's first time to stand alone as a solo artist without the support of her group members, such achievement must be even more meaningful.

The album has been met with a positive response also in Korea. The regular and special editions are currently ranked third and fourth respectively on Hanteo, the chart combining all domestic album sales.

Seeing how well her title track "Goodnight Kiss" has been doing, Hyosung thanked her fans the amount of love she has received through her SNS.

Have you been enjoying her first solo album?
