Akdong Musician's Lee Chan Hyuk Can Produce a Song in Just Five Minutes?

Lee Chan Hyuk of Akdong Musician ("AKMU") has once again proven his innate talent when it comes to composing.

The siblings were guests on SBS PowerFM's "Choi Hwa Jung's Power Time" on May 20. During the interview, DJ Choi Hwa Jung asked, "Haven't you said that you can produce a song in under five minutes?"

"Being able to produce a song in just five minutes is an exaggeration, but once it took me only five minutes to come up with one," Lee Chan Hyuk replied, explaining that it is possible but not always the case.

As MC Choi Hwa Jung wanted to hear the song, Lee Chan Hyuk said, "The song is yet to be revealed. As the number of songs increases, the melodies begin to sound similar. Because I try to avoid the same melody, it takes longer than before to produce a song."

When asked if she has attempted to write songs, Lee Soo Hyun expressed her interest, "I try to, and I also want to try out writing and composing. But my brother does not teach me." Hearing this, the older brother explained, "Soo Hyun says she tries her best and sits in front of the piano for hours, but she actually does nothing," revealing the cute reality behind the sister's efforts.

MC Choi Hwa Jung asked Lee Chan Hyuk if he has ever been amazed by his own work. The young talent replied, "I am struck with admiration every time I finish a song," causing everyone to burst into laughter.
