IU Sings a Duet with Kim Chang Wan for "Meaning of You"

Recommended Posts

As part of  her recently released remake album, "Flower Bookmark," IU sang a duet with legendary signer Kim Chang Wan in the remake of his original song, "The Meaning of You." The music clip and short interview was shared with English and Japanese subtitles through the official 1theK YouTube channel.

"The Meaning of You" was originally sung by Kim Chang Wan for his band, Sanulrim. In the video IU talks about she personally chose the songs for this remake album, and how it was more difficult than she thought it would be. Kim Chang Wan and IU record the song together, and create a friendly and easy-going atmosphere from these two singers of different generations. The remake is a lovely rendition with IU's young soprano voice and Kim Chang Wan's iconic gentle voice.
