Seo In Guk’s “BOMTANBA” Displaces g.o.d Atop Eight Music Charts

Seo In Guk’s new single “BOMTANBA” has stormed to the top of eight different music charts. Released May 14, the new song has now hit Number 1 on the Bugs chart, as well as charts compiled by MNet, Soribada, Olleh Music, Genie, Naver Music, Daum Music and Monkey3.

The single, a mid-tempo number with a slight urban feel to it, has successfully dislodged g.o.d’s “The Lone Duckling” in most charts, though g.o.d has managed to cling to the top spot in the Melon rankings. Also doing well in the music charts at the moment are releases from EXO, Junggigo and Hwisung.

The lyrics of “BOMTANBA” tell the story of a man who feels his heart is beating too quickly. He asks himself whether what he feels is really love or if he has just drunk too much coffee.
