SBS Meets with Production Team of Indonesian Drama Accused of Plagiarizing “Man from the Stars”

It is being reported that  representatives from TV network SBS met up with the Indonesian production team of the drama accused of plagiarizing the hit Korean drama "Man from the Stars."

A representative of SBS Contents Hub, which is responsible for managing the publication rights of “Man from the Stars,” revealed to Dongah.com on May 12, "We had a meeting today with the local production team of the drama at issue. We agreed to deal with the situation amicably."

SBS Contents Hub had previously stated on April 30 that it would seek action against the Indonesian drama "Kau Yang Berasal Dari Bintang,"  which bore striking similarities to "Man from the Stars" and SBS clarified had "not been made after acquiring the legal publishing rights." 

The representative from SBS Contents Hub stated today, "Since the local production team acknowledged its wrong, we will continue on with negotiations regarding the publication and copyrights."
