Weekly K-Pop Music Chart 2014 – May Week 2

Recommended Posts

The K-Pop world remains stagnant as of last week due to the ferry accident last month.  Music shows remained off air, and no major artists have released new albums and singles out of respect to the family of the victims. As a result, there are no new songs in the top 10 this week. The top three songs also remain the same with Akdong Musician’s “200%” being No. 1 for the third straight week.

Music shows are partially back this week with M!Countdown and Show Music Core back on air.  Also, EXO has finally released their new mini-album and veteran male group g.o.d has released their first song in more than eight years. The chart action is expected to pick up again next week, but more realistically look for the new songs to hit the top in two weeks.
