Akdong Musician Wins 1st Place for Third Week in a Row on "M! Countdown"

Despite Mnet's "M! Countdown's" broadcast postponement, Akdong Musician was once again recognized and awarded first place for their song "200%."

As of May 1, Akdong Musician ranked first on Mnet's online music chart with their song "200%." Second place on the chart was APink's "Mr. Chu," while third place was Lee Sun Hee's "Meet Him Among Them." The first place win awarded by "M! Countdown" marked Akdong Musician's music program win for the third week in a row. Despite the music program broadcast postponement, Akdong Musician was able to convey their music chart dominance through their self composed songs. The brother and sister duo made their debut with "200%" after winning SBS' "K-Pop Star Season 3."

As of this week, music programs will continue to be postponed due to the recent Sewol ferry accident. Congratulations to Akdong Musician, and we hope that their music will help uplift many people during these times of struggle.
