Sonnet Son Releases Single "Everyday Different Tears" Instead of Mini Album

Singer Sonnet Son (Son Seung Yeon) has released her new single "Everyday Different Tears."

The song featuring hip hop duo Freestyle hit the music stores on April 30. Like the title hints, it is a urban pop track with a mellow melody and emotional lyrics. The lyrics reflect the variety of feelings one experiences after letting one's love go, and shedding different tears every day due as a result.

Sonnet Son, who is the winner of "Voice Korea" season 1, was originally supposed to release a mini album instead of a single, but due to the recent ferry tragedy, she and her agency decided to tone down her activities.

Her agency Fortune Entertainment commented, "Sonnet Son's second mini album was expected to be released today, but as the nation is in the state of mourning due to the Sewol ferry tragedy, we canceled both the release of her album and the scheduled activities, and decided to reveal a single with a sad feeling to it."
