Newsie
Block B has officially announced the cancellation of the launch of comeback activities to tie in with new single, “Jackpot”. The news was broken through a statement on the boy band’s official Twitter site on April 29. According to the announcement, the group’s promotional activities will be postponed as Korea continues to collectively mourn for the lost and missing passengers of the Sewol ferry disaster. The statement was released by Seven Seasons, the group’s representatives. No mention was made of any exact date for a new comeback schedule. The agency did explain, however, that the group now intends to launch new promotional activities and new material after the forthcoming “2014 Blockbuster” concert. The concert will be the group’s first as a headlining act. The statement read, "We wish to apologize to all Block B fans, and we hope that they will understand the gravity of the situation. We would also like to extend our deepest sympathies to the families of the victims and those still missing, and we wish them all the best in this difficult time.”View the full article
