On April 28, the Cannes Film Festival announced their panel of judges, which will include celebrated actress Jeon Do Yeon. In 2007, she won the Best Actress Award at Cannes for her captivating performance as a grieving mother in the movie "Secret Sunshine."

Jeon Do Yeon is the first Korean actress to be a judge at the prestigious film festival. Formerly, "Secret Sunshine" director Lee Chang Dong ("Oasis," "Peppermint Candy") served as a Cannes judge in 2009.

Cannes Film Festival's panel of judges is famous for only including the most renowned individuals in the global film industry, and to be a judge at Cannes considered a great honor by many in the field. With director Jane Campion as president, this year's panel of eight judges are: Carole Bouquet, Sofia Coppola, Leila Hatami, Jeon Do Yeon, Willem Dafoe, Gael Garcia Bernal, Jia Zhangke and Nicolas Winding Refn.

The 67th Cannes Film Festival will take place from May 14 until May 26 in Cannes, France.
