Yoon Shi Yoon Quietly Begins Military Service in the Marines

It  has come as a surprise to many as it is being belatedly reported that actor Yoon Shi Yoon started his mandatory military service today without any fanfare or previous press notification.

Actor Yoon Shi Yoon (born 1986), most recently from the KBS drama "Prime Minister and I," reported for duty today, April 28, 1:50 PM, at the Marine Corps boot camp in Poyang. He will complete seven weeks of training there and then be officially placed to fulfill his two year military duty.  to According to the actor's agency, Yoon Shi Yoon wanted to quietly enter the base and asked the company to not let any outsiders know before he left. 

Yoon Shi Yoon commented through his agency, "Every male goes to the military, and I didn't want to cause any disturbance for the other soldiers. I wanted to perform my national duty quietly."
