Hyun Bin’s Upcoming Movie “The Fatal Encounter” Draws Highest Pre-Sale Numbers

Expectations are rising for actor Hyun Bin’s comeback movie which will be premiering on April 30, as ticket reservations for “The Fatal Encounter” has reached number one by a landslide.

According to the Korean Film Commission on April 28, “The Fatal Encounter” has recorded 55.9% in pre-sale tickets, currently taking charge of the top spot. This is almost three times the amount of the number two movie, “The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” with 19.2%.

We can expect a tough competition between “The Fatal Encounter” and “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” in theaters this May. Also included in the mix is “The Target” (starring Ryu Seung Ryong) as well as the animated movie “Rio 2.”

“The Fatal Encounter” is a movie that portrays the 24 hours leading up to an attempted assassination of a king who has ascended the throne as he tries to protect his powers. Hyun Bin, Jung Jae Young, Jo Jung Suk, Jo Jae Hyun, Han Ji Min, Kim Sung Ryung, and more will be starring in this much-anticipated film.
