What Made Lee Seo Jin Drop to His Knees in “Wonderful Days”?

In the previews for the April 26 broadcast of KBS 2TV’s “Wonderful Days,” Lee Seo Jin can be seen throwing away his pride as a tough prosecutor and showing his sincere side by getting on his knees.

In the scene, Kang Dong Suk (played by Lee Seo Jin) goes to the hospital where Cha Hae Won (Kim Hee Sun) is admitted in order to apologize to her mother. Even as Cha Hae Won’s mother (Noh Kyung Joo) shows anger, Kang Dong Suk bends down on his knees to display his sincerity. Viewers are showing great interest in the reason why Kang Dong Suk would make such an unexpected change in his actions.

Lee Seo Jin’s earnest “knee apology” was filmed on April 19 at a hospital in Yongin. Before they filmed the scene, Noh Kyung Joo could not hide her unease about having to slap Lee Seo Jin. In response, he showed his consideration for the actress by saying, “Please hit me without holding back so our acting will come off naturally.” Even after the scene was finished, Lee Seo Jin, ever the gentleman, was more so worried about Noh Kyung Joo’s hand than himself.
