On April 11, TV Report photographed Shindong and Kang Shi Nae on a date at IFC Mall, a popular mall in Seoul. The two were photographed with their arms linked and strolling around in the mall. The two were all smiles and seemingly unaware of their surroundings. The two were seen being quite affectionate, playfully hitting each other, in the bestsellers corner of a book store. In the book store, Shindong purchased a newly released album while Kang Shi Nae browsed through magazines. (See the photos here) According to TV Report, a representative at Shindong's agency, SM Entertainment, told them, "Shindong first met Kang Shi Nae through friends. They recently became friends. When asked about Shindong's relationship with his previous girlfriend whom he had even proposed to, the representative cautiously answered, "Shindong had broken up with his ex-girlfriend one year ago."
