4Minute's Sohyun Talks about How She First Debuted at 12 Years Old

Before she had debuted with 4Minute, Sohyun revealed that she had actually debuted back in 2005 when she was only 12 years old. On the March 25 broadcast of Mnet's "Beatles Code 3D," guests 4Minute and Toheart discussed about how they were able to debut as singers. While listening to the singers talk about their audition and debut experiences, MC Shin Dong Yup pointed out that 4Minute's youngest member Sohyun was the veteran singer among all the singers in the room. 

Indeed, Sohyun revealed that she had debuted back in 2005 through the three member girl group Orange, and had promoted for only a short while. The 4Minute member said, "At the time I was 12 years old," surprising the guests and MCs. In response to her statement, MC Jang Dong Min asked, "Were you part of that 10+ member group?" referencing the 13 member female group i-13 that had also promoted during that time. However, Sohyun clarified, "No, we were not that group. Our group actually competed with that group."

Although Orange wasn't quite as successful, we're glad that Sohyun was able to debut as a part of 4Minute!
