After School’s Jooyeon Joins Cast of MBC Drama “A New Leaf”

After School’s Jooyeon has been confirmed to be joining the cast of MBC Wednesday-Thursday drama “A New Leaf.”

According to her agency on March 26, “Jooyeon will play a friend, Lee Mi Ri, of the lead female character (Park Min Young).” Lee Mi Ri is bubbly and outspoken, shares a special connection with Kim Suk Joo (Kim Myung Min), and is expected to infuse energy to the drama.

Jooyeon had her first taste of acting in KBS 1TV’s “Smile Again,” and has followed up with roles and cameos in dramas such as “Jeon Woo Chi” and “Reply 1997.”

“A New Leaf” is about a star lawyer at a big firm who loses his memory and starts life anew. Kim Myung Min, Park Min Young, BTOB’s Minhyuk and Jooyeon have been confirmed for the drama, which is scheduled to air in mid-April, after “Cunning Single Lady.”
