Negative Comments About Yoo Ah In Disappear with the Success of "Secret Love Affair"

At a press conference for JTBC drama “Secret Love Affair” on March 24, actor Yoo Ah In opened up about the negative comments he had recently received and his past drama performances. He said, “I haven’t had very good success with dramas recently. I got a lot of credit and attention for my roles in KBS 2TV’s ‘Sungkyunkwan Scandal’ and the film ‘Punch,’ but since then, I haven’t quite lived up to expectations.”

Yoo Ah In continued, “I felt apologetic towards our staff, and in the midst of all that, I came across the work ‘Secret Love Affair.’ I believe that because I had those [difficult] moments, I am who I am now and I am able to be a part of ‘Secret Love Affair.’” The actor added that in his worry about how much better he can do, “Secret Love Affair” helped a lot. “I recently was getting a lot of negative comments, but that’s all buried now in the success of the drama.”

“Secret Love Affair” is about the love between a young piano prodigy Lee Sun Jae (Yoo Ah In), and a perfect career woman, Oh Hye Won (Kim Hee Ae). Also starring in the cast are Shim Hye Jin, Kim Hye Eun, Park Hyuk Kwon, Kyung Soo Jin, Kim Yong Gun, Kim Chang Wan, etc.
