Singers Kangta and BoA have been assigned as non-registered directors of SM Entertainment.

A representative of SM Entertainment revealed on March 21, "Singers Kangta and BoA have been appointed as non-registered directors. From now on, the two will be more directly involved in the company's creative direction and wide range of content. They will use their global know-how in news ways for the company." 

Both Kangta and BoA had their start in SM Entertainment and had been loyal to SM Entertainment since then while becoming two of Hallyu's most recognizable names. Both artists are highly popular overseas, particularly in other Asian countries, and will use their experiences to bring valuable and unique insight to the creative content and company planning to SM Entertainment.
