First Stills of Daniel Choi for Upcoming Drama “Big Man”

Recommended Posts

Actor Daniel Choi is looking mighty sharp in a suit for his upcoming KBS 2TV drama “Big Man” in stills released on March 19.

Compared to his last drama “School 2013” in which he was dressed down as a teacher, Daniel Choi suits up here for his role as Kang Dong Suk. He comes off looking intellectual and business-like with the suit and his trademark glasses.

His character, Kang Dong Suk, appears to be friendly and pleasant to everyone on the outside, but is a hard-nosed businessman who won’t hesitate to do what it takes to get what he wants. As the only son of the Hyunsung Group, he was born with a silver spoon, and started on the elite path to success at an early age. However, a single fatal weakness causes him to experience a crisis.

A representative of “Big Man” stated that Daniel Choi will make a transformation as a cold-hearted character and shed his gentle image through the drama.

“Big Man” is a drama about a penniless orphan, Kim Ji Hyuk (Kang Ji Hwan) who begins a new life when he is told that he is the son of a chaebol group. However, he later learns this is a lie, and hurt by his new family and the world’s unfair reality, he embarks on a plan to fight power and corruption in order to protect the people dearest to him.

Daniel Choi, Kang Ji Hwan, Lee Da Hee and Jung So Min star in "Big Man," which premieres in April after “Full Sun." The drama will air on Mondays and Tuesdays at 10:00 PM KST on KBS 2TV.
