Nichkhun Selected as Model for Global Badminton Brand

Global badminton brand Yonex has chosen 2PM's Nichkhun as their newest model.

On March 11, Yonex Korea stated, "After seeing Nichkhun showing impressive badminton skills on a certain variety program, earning him the nickname of 'The Shuttlecock Prince,' we thought his image was a perfect fit for the global badminton brand, Yonex."

Yonex Korea is planning on throwing various promotions with Nichkhun such as a fan signing event and other marketing activities.

Yonex Korea was founded in 1977 and was the first to produce shuttlecocks in Korea. Their products were distributed to Japan and Europe. It is the brand that is used by the world ranking #1 male badminton athlete, Lee Chong Wei of Malaysia.

Previously, Nichkhun displayed his exceptional badminton skills on KBS' "Cool Kiz on the Block."
