Boyfriend Becomes First K-Pop Act to Hold Concert in Puerto Rico

Recommended Posts

Boyfriend has successfully wrapped up their solo concert in Puerto Rico, becoming the first-ever K-pop group to do so.

On March 8, the idol group could be seen performing in front of 1,700 loving fans at the Centro De Bellas Artes Luis A Ferre. While titled "Boyfriend Fan Meeting en Puerto Rico," the event was definitely more than just a simple fan meeting.

The concert venue was filled with fans, and both the first and the second floor showed their support by cheering loudly as the boys performed their hit songs. For two hours, the audience sang together with Boyfriend and enjoyed the experience.

Not only was this the first time for a K-pop act to perform in Puerto Rico, but the group also managed to sell out nearly all of the tickets as soon as the sales opened, confirming their popularity on the Spanish-speaking island. In addition, their fans' enthusiasm surprised everyone from the airport staff to Boyfriend's team when they landed in San Juan Airport on March 6 and were welcomed by over 500 local fans.

Having wrapped up their appearance in Puerto Rico, Boyfriend will continue on to hold showcases in Chicago on the 11th and in Dallas on the 13th.
