Yoon Jong Shin and Heo Ji Woong Join Campaign Against Child Abuse

Recommended Posts

Yoon Jong Shin, father of three and a popular artist, and film critic Heo Ji Woong have joined the fight against a serious social issue.

ChildFund Korea, the largest child welfare institution operating in Korea, revealed on February 28 that the two entertainers have decided to participate in their campaign titled "Nayoung's Wish" dedicated to helping victims of child abuse.

"Nayoung's Wish" was launched in October last year, and has since raised awareness of child abuse. In 2011, the institution carried out a campaign requesting stricter laws on sexual offenders against children, and thanks to their hard work and support of the public, the statute of limitations for child sex abuse cases was abolished.

The two can be seen as some of the faces of the campaign, and promotional videos featuring them were uploaded on ChildFund Korea's website on February 28. Yoon Jong Shin expressed his feelings, "I only want to show the children a beautiful world. Even though it hurts or you feel sad, we will be together."
