This scene was reported to be filmed on February 16. This was the two actors' first kiss scene, making them both slightly nervous. However, their close relationship off-screen helped the set atmosphere stay warm and bright as they exchanged many ideas before going into shooting the scene.

It was said that they practiced their lines while hugging each other in order to seem less awkward for the actual filming. Joo Sang Wook was said to look after Lee Min Jung and helped her get her good angles on camera.
